From the A50 (Junction 3) at Chellaston take the road to Swadlincote and Melbourne. In a mile at Swarkestone pass the Crewe and Harpur public house and turn right to Ingleby immediately after crossing the river Trent bridge. Do not cross the Swarkestone causeway. Continue for 1 1/2 miles, pass the John Thompson Inn, The Gallery is a further 1/4 mile on the right behind a black and white cottage.
