Ingleby, Nr Melbourne, Derbyshire DE73 7HW

Ingleby Gallery sits gently in the Trent Valley surrounded by open pasture land extending to the river with ponds and ducks, a very rural setting with ample parking for visitors.

The brick building housing the Gallery was originally a shire horse stable, part of one of the working farms on Sir Francis Burdett's Foremarke Estate. Built in the 18th century it has many of its original features, hayrack and harness pegs.

Ingleby is a small hamlet with some of the cottages dating back to the 16th century.

The gallery is open for set exhibitions throughout the year with each exhibition lasting two weeks except the month long Christmas Exhibition. There is an ever changing collection of quality jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, metalwork and glassware all produced by talented artists and crafts people. Works of Ingleby Gallery exhibitors always available include paintings by; Carol Hodgson, Deb Walker, Gill Bickerstaff, James Preston, Joan Wood, John Broadbent, Miggie Bruce, Paul Riley, Tim Rose as well as sculptures by Julie Wilson, Paul Jenkins and Sue Riley
