Kay Elliott

Brought up in an artistic environment Kay dabbled with many creative pastimes, but only found her real vocation with her free flowing water colour flower paintings. She is fascinated by the complex structure of flowers, and excited by their beauty. Spontaneous, fresh and contemporary but carefully observed, her work has been likened to that of Dame Elizabeth Blackadder R.A., O.B.E.

Creating a balance between the delicacy of petals and their intensity of colour seems to come easily to Kay, producing paintings that are both decorative and beautiful, with gorgeous colours and elegant forms.
